Things I want to remember
Some learned. Some borrowed. Some paid for the hard way.
- Tomorrow is half-won today.
- Not everything is a priority.
- Decide what matters before the world decides for you.
- Make important decisions before pressure makes them for you.
- Make things simpler.
- Some things shouldn’t even be done in the first place.
- Don’t create problems you don’t have.
- If it repeats, find a better way.
- Measure what you want to improve.
- Perfection is imaginary. Time isn’t.
- Motion is not progress.
- Don’t learn everything the hard way.
- A good book can save you years.
- Experience is expensive. Borrow some.
- Ask for help before waiting makes things worse.
- Help when you can, especially when there is nothing to gain.
- Thank people while you have the chance.
- Work should make life better, not take it over.
- Protect your attention.
- Protect your health.
- Rest before you’re forced to.
- Move while you can.
- Enjoy the good days while they’re here.
- Nothing in excess.
- Take the long way sometimes. Follow the side street.
- Break the routine. That’s where memories begin.
- Don’t postpone living until everything is sorted out.
- Be present. This day won’t come back.
- Don’t let a bad hour become a bad day.
- Most things matter less than they feel in the moment.
- Be the hero of your own story, not an extra in someone else’s.
- Use money to buy freedom, not status.
- Change course when the evidence changes.
- Don’t confuse a plan with a promise.
- What you repeat becomes your life.
- What good have I done today?
