Step 2 · Days 4–7
Package the proof
Turn three pieces of evidence into short case studies or demos, and rewrite your profile around the problem.
Show, then claim
A claim is “I improve conversion”. Proof is “Bookings went from 2% to 3.4% after we cut the form from nine fields to four; here is the before and after”. People trust what they can see.
Three short case studies
Pick the three strongest pieces from your evidence list. For each, one page:
- The situation: who, and what was wrong, in two lines.
- What you did: the decisions, not the tasks. Why this and not that.
- What changed: a number, a quote, a before and after.
- One image: a screenshot, a diagram, a photo of the thing.
Keep each to the length of a long email. If a client must stay anonymous, describe them (“a 40-room hotel in Lisbon”).
A demo works too: a short screen recording of a tool, a public prototype, a template people can use.
Rewrite your profile
Your profile on the platforms that matter to you, and your site’s about page: lead with the sentence, then link to the three pieces. Remove adjectives you cannot back with proof.
Done when
Three case studies or demos exist, each on one page with something to look at, and your profile starts with the problem you solve.
Step 2 is done when
0 of 2Tick each one once it is true for your project, then move on.
Step 2 done.
